Every Wasteland receives an allocation of $WASTE for as long as it stays in one wallet, from a fixed emission that halves each year for eight years and then stops. It waits on chain until you claim it from your own collection.

Where it shows
Every collection page shows what its pieces could claim right now, and anyone can open any collection. Only the wallet holding the pieces can claim them, and the $WASTE is minted straight to that wallet.
When a piece accrues
From the moment emission started, or from the moment its current holder received it if that came later — read exactly from the Wasteland contract's own ownership record. Unclaimed $WASTE waits for as long as the piece stays in the wallet, and claiming never resets holding time.
What moving a piece costs
Any transfer — a sale, a gift, a move to another wallet you own — forfeits that piece's unclaimed $WASTE and restarts its clock for whoever holds it next. Claim before you sell or move one. Listing a piece moves nothing.
What a claim is
A transaction from your own wallet carrying up to 25 pieces and a fresh proof that you hold them, which the emitter checks against the chain itself. Confirm it within a few minutes of starting. There is nothing to sign besides the transaction.

Verify it yourself

None of this needs the site's word. The addresses below are fixed in the site's code rather than set in its configuration, and every check is a read you can make on the explorer without connecting a wallet.
